Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marina Manager to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of our marina facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, excellent leadership skills, and a customer-centric approach to service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of marina operations including fuelling, site maintenance, administrative duties, and customer service.
Supervise marina staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure exceptional performance and teamwork.
Develop and implement operational procedures to optimise efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and customers, adhering to all relevant safety regulations and protocols.
Carry out facility maintenance, including routine inspections, repairs, and cleanliness standards.
Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns in a timely and professional manner, striving to exceed expectations at every opportunity.
Foster positive relationships with our boaters, suppliers, promote a sense of community and collaboration within the marina.
Qualifications
Previous experience in marina management or a related field, with a proven track record of success.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
Sound knowledge of operations, safety regulations, and environmental best practices.
Proficiency in budget management, resource allocation, and operational planning.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
Boating experience and familiarity with boat handling and maintenance is a plus.
