TYHA Chairman, Steve Arber is delighted to invite you to join TYHA at a Coastal Marina Tour and Networking Day on the Isle of Wight, UK on Wednesday 17th July 2024, kindly sponsored by Dura Composites.
The objective of the day is to enable members to view marinas, talk to their operators, learn new things and network with fellow industry colleagues.
We envisage that the event will begin at Cowes Yacht Haven Marina with arrival tea/coffee/ bacon rolls from 09.30 with the tour starting at 10.00.
Intended itinerary:
Tour and introduction of Cowes Yacht Haven Marina (including onsite tenants e.g. Flying Fish, Cowes Harbour Commissioner, covering Shephards and Kingston Marina)
Boat transfer (during boat travel we will be presented with some history on maritime operations of Cowes & the Medina River)
UKSA training center tour and presentation
Boat transfer
Lunch at The Lifeboat Restaurant
Tour of the RNLI Inshore Lifeboat Centre
Tour of Boatfolk – East Cowes Marina (including onsite tenants e.g. Ellen Macarthur Cancer Trust)
Boat transfer
Evening BBQ at Cowes Yacht Haven
*Please note this will be a charged TYHA event including lunch and dinner and boat transfer between each venue.
**You are welcome to just attend the daytime tour/lunch or just the evening BBQ networking event. Prices will be packaged accordingly.

For those that wish to return to Southampton on the same day the Red Jet last crossing leaves at 22.30.
