New Award Category – Sustainable Marina Award
In conjunction with our new sponsor, Haven Knox-Johnston, and supported by the Green Blue we are delighted to announce the introduction of the new Sustainable Marina Award category as part of the TYHA Marina Awards process.
All of our TYHA Clean Marinas are eligible to win this award which will be presented at this years award ceremony at the Southampton International Boat Show on Wednesday 20th September.
In order for your marina to be put forward as a finalist for the award we are asking that you provide us with answers to the following questions for the awards panel to consider:
What additional sustainable practices have you implemented since your Clean Marina Assessment and what impact has this had?
How have you motivated your berth holders to be environmentally conscious and act responsibly to protect the marine environment?
We would please ask that you return your answers to Hayley Cloke by the 28th of July. These will then be reviewed in conjunction with your Clean Marina assessment report by our Sustainable Marina Awards Panel who will select the category winner.
All the other existing berth holder nominated Marina Awards will continue to be awarded so you have the opportunity to win one of those too!
