D-Marin Gouvia, the first privately owned marina in Greece, is situated in Corfu, about 6 kilometres from the town of Corfu and 7 kilometres from the International Airport. For many years seamen considered the harbour and the bay of Gouvia to be a natural link between the Adriatic and the Mediterranean Sea as well as a port of call, where they could sail in, to repose, enjoying the weather and the beauties of the island.
The marina has a mooring capacity of 1,198 yachts, on both permanent and floating pontoons while there are also dry dock facilities for approximately 500 yachts. Gouvia Marina can gladly accommodate boats up to 80m long and with 5.5m draft. Electricity (220V and 380V) and fresh water are available at all berths. A number of different services and facilities area also available, a such as; commercial shops, car, motorbike and boat rental offices, restaurants, bars and cafes, Port Police office, refuelling station, supermarket, and a launderette. The broad quaysides include kinder garden, a swimming-pool, sports facilities as well as a cricket field, a sport with a great tradition in Corfu. The marina offers a full range of technical boat services and dry docking facilities with two 75 and 65-ton travelifts and two 60 and 45-ton mobile cranes.
The marina operates all year round on a 24-hour basis and is guarded by a private security company.
