Swanley Bridge Marina is a family run business that puts the customer at the heart of everything we do. Nestling in beautiful Cheshire countryside, the marina is set in 10 acres of water, providing spectacular views across the water, plus a feeling of space, peace and tranquillity. Our secure marina is located at the start of the Llangollen Canal, consistently voted the prettiest canal in the country. The canal terminates at the World Heritage Site and famous Pontcysyllte Aqueduct.
We have on site engineering & fabrication services; joinery; boat painting; DIY sheds; gritblasting; and hoist facilities, these services and facilities are situated away from the marina, down a long driveway, this ensures the peaceful atmosphere of the marina is not disturbed by noise. Within the grounds of the marina is a seven acre ancient wood for the enjoyment of our moorers.
We are ideally placed on the canal system, Hurleston Junction is just 40 minutes cruising time from the marina, and is the gateway to the whole waterway network.
For those travelling by road, the M6 motorway is less than a 30 minute drive; and Crewe railway station is 8 miles from the marina. There is a choice of reliable taxi services and a frequent bus service runs through Acton village, which is a mile from the marina.
