The British Yacht Harbour Association (TYHA) General Manager Jonathan White visited Yalikavak Marina and handed over the "2022 Superyacht Marina of the Year" award to its winner
Yalikavak Marina, which was selected as the "Superyacht Marina of the Year 2022" by receiving the most votes by boat owners and sea enthusiasts in the "World's Best Marina" voting organized by The British Yacht Harbour Association (TYHA), one of the most prestigious institutions in the world yachting sector, received its award.
TYHA General Manager Jonathan White visited Yalikavak Marina with TYHA Turkey Representative Murat Tuncer. At the award ceremony held during their visit to Yalikavak Marina, TYHA General Manager Jonathan White presented the "Best Superyacht Marina of 2022" award to Yalikavak Marina, Marina Director Deniz Akaltan.
TYHA General Manager Jonathan White, who conveyed that he was very happy to be in Yalikavak Marina; "There are two reasons for this visit. We are here both to deliver the "World's Best Marina" award and to celebrate Yalikavak Marina's receipt of the Golden Anchor Platinum rating. The "World's Best Marina" voting is an important organization that has been held for 10 years and for the last 3 years, Yalikavak Marina has managed to return from this challenging voting with awards. In these votes, the most important criterion is that the service and service quality of the marinas is very good and the satisfaction of their guests is the most important criterion. The Yacht Harbour Association; It is an international institution headquartered in the UK and with hundreds of members from different countries of the world, which determines the quality, safety and service standards of marinas and makes ratings according to the level of these standards. Among the member countries of the Union is Turkey.
A total of 364 marinas in different countries have received the golden anchor award within the framework of the quality standards of this association and have been entitled to participate in the voting in the "Marina of the Year Awards" competition held every year. The voting, which was carried out on the TYHA website and took place with the participation of visitors, sea lovers and industry professionals from all over the world, started at the beginning of the year and continued until the end of August, while the winners were announced at the end of September.
